    the thing that this article fails to mention is that you are only tracked in this way if you are using Google Toolbar,
    so if people are worried about Big Broother all they have to do is use a newer browser with a built in search capability (firefox anyone?).

  3. It only tracks your movements *if* you are signed in. So don’t sign in. That is an easy out. Let’s not spread fear unnecessarily… The more people who are clear and direct about the true situation, the better the information that is spread around. Sigh.
