This graphic makes me chuckle each time I see it. I’ve been experiencing PowerPoint fatigue since library school. PPT is supposed to enhance a presentation, but is often used as a crutch. If I have to sit through another presenter at a conference reading directly from the screen, my PowerPoint Fatigue is going to intensify into a full-blown case of PPTPTSD.
Were you at SLA in Denver (2007)? Scott Adams (Dilbert), who was the closing keynote speaker, used an overhead projector and drew his points by hand. I still tell people how refreshing that presentation was.
I think the slide is a brilliant summing up of the “The War in Afghanistan”…… A bloody mess that no one understands
