This Week in Libraries

I recommend that you add the weekly library video showcast, This Week in Libraries, to your RSS feeds. It is done by the Shanachies (or the Dutch Library Boys to some of us).

TWIL show number 26 is the inimitable Patricia Martin, who was the keynote for Internet Librarian in Monterey in October. Her theme was “Library Renaissance>”

Patricia Martin is CEO and founder of LitLamp Communications, a marketing consultancy acclaimed for using culture as a medium to connect brands with communities of consumers. Specializing in serving knowledge economy clients, Martin conjured a strategy for the Asian tour of the New York Philharmonic, spearheaded a viral Information Privacy initiative funded by George Soros, launched Animal Planet, introduced Dannon products into school lunch rooms nationwide, and re-focused Sun Microsystems’ higher education strategy.

“The Dutch Boys” are doing excellent work on behalf of libraries across the world. How can we help spread the word and build a stronger advertising base for them to continue their mission on our behalf?
