Gesture Computing

I just love the concept of gesture computing. It is starting to appear in gaming lately and is going way beyond Wii.

A good friend reminded me of this neat TED video that defines and demonstrates the potential of gesture computing. (It also shows how far ahead those awesome TED videos really are since this one is 2 years old and the stuff is finally coming to market).

WUW SixthSense: A Wearable Guesture Interface (4:40 minutes)

A Day Made of Glass… Made possible by Corning. (5:33 minutes)

Just ask yourself, “Why do I have to physically touch my iPad or any other eReader to turn the page on my e-book?”

Anyone see any reason newspapers need to kill thousands of hectares of trees daily?

Stuff is gonna change more in the next ten years than the last thirty.
