ALA – Literacy Drop-In Room / Workshop

Illiteracy — with its social and economic implications — continues to be a growing concern nationwide. And libraries remain a key component of this educational effort to develop effective solutions.

If you have a stake in or are directly involved with evaluating and providing resources to help meet the literacy needs of your patrons, join us at ALA on June 26th for a drop-in workshop. You’ll share experiences, discuss your current solutions, and get a sneak peak at potential resources that may help address your needs.

What: ALA Annual Drop-in Workshop
When: June 26th from 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
Where: Blaine Kern C, New Orleans Marriott At The Convention Center
Why: Because you can help develop useful resources to support your literacy needs!

So, if you’re passionate about meeting the literacy needs of your patrons and would like to discuss and share solutions that could be developed and put into place, please join us on June 26th. But hurry! Space is limited to only 70 participants — please RSVP today! Snacks will be provided and every participant will receive a special gift.
