Some libraries have fallen into the trap of adopting too much corporate speak. Some is OK, and it’s certainly an appropriate style for some parts of the annual report and board work. However, the balance must be maintained. Luke – there’s a disruption in the force. Libraries must make sure to tell our most powerful and engaging stories too – often and well, like a dripping tap using all of the (mostly free) tools at our disposal (YouTube, Facebook, G+, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
