I’ve always loved this pyramid. I think it’s important to view it in the context of library programs and services and not just collections and circulation. Can you map your strategic services and programs to the pyramid? Do they align with your goals for learning and community? Are your metrics and analytics – measurements – reflecting this mapping? Has your institution progressed beyond statistics – circulation,website hits and gatecount?
