“A new analysis from Inside Track, a student coaching nonprofit, seeks to identify the 10 most common student support challenges that colleges face. Inside Track, which is part of the Strada Education Network, based its analysis on focus groups and more than 1,000 interviews with college leaders and faculty and staff members at 40 institutions. Among the top barriers found were a transactional approach to student support, limited professional development opportunities for faculty and staff, that students who most need support aren’t receiving it, and “change fatigue.””
