  1. Thanks for clipping out the social technographics ladder chart for us. It helps us identify areas of opportunity and tension particularily for librarians / knowledge managers who have yet to experience hands-on, the full range of roles in the ladder and also for librarians who are straddling multiple roles simultaneously.

    It is a challenge for a librarian who walks the path as an information creator (ie. blog publisher) on subjects that are not at all on knowledge management, yet still keep one foot on trends in the knowledge management world. It is a tension of time investment and focus to be straddling two different worlds.

    Chart is a worthwhile skill pathfinder for folks who have gained considerable expertise in our careers and other endeavours, yet may feel overwhelmed or at best, distracted and guilty on “what we need to know” to remain relevant in our career.
