How Libraries Stack Up 2010

I always loved this two page PDF from OCLC. The old 6 page one from 2003 is getting a little long in the tooth, so I was pleased to see OCLC giving out a 2010 update at PLA last week.

Here’s as link to the new one:

How Libraries Stack Up: 2010 (OCLC 2 page PDF)
http://www.oclc.org/reports/stackup/default.htm

Two things this can do:

It can be printed out and handed out from your library.

It is a PDF so it can be e-mailed to appropriate people.

You can distribute it to staff so that they are armed.

The 2003 report is still interesting too (here)

  1. Good share, Stephen! I’ll add it to my list.
If you’re into soundbites (and everyone should be!), I have some snappy ones and talking points on my website under “Why Are Libraries Are Essential?”

Thanks for posting Stephen. I’d love to see a Canadian version of this.
