AALL WEBINAR: Interpreting the Tea Leaves: Thinking about the Future with Stephen Abram
Thursday, June 10, 2010
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM – Central Time (U.S. and Canada)
Hosts: Sarah Stephens and Laura La Rose

The world is constantly changing, and few years have brought as much change to law firms and their libraries as the past year. How can we anticipate and prepare for the next time the earth shifts? How do we prepare ourselves, and our staff for change? How do we lead our libraries and firms into the future? Join us as we interview Stephen Abram, named by Library Journal as one of the top 50 people influencing the future of libraries. We’ll find out how this visionary thinker gathers information, formulates predictions based on current trends and events, and identifies what it all means for libraries. Plan to leave the session energized, and armed with ways to see more clearly into the future.

Register by June 3rd.
Cost: $45 for members and $60 for non-members

See you there, virtually.

This looks like a great event, Stephen. Alas, I missed the deadline to sign up. Will you be recording this for purchase later?
I’m a law librarian in Portland, and have been thinking a lot about change since your chat with ORSLA members here a few months ago. I love technology and change, but the culture of a big law firm is very slow moving. 🙂

    Have fun with this event!

    Hi Sue:
I think TAP recorded the session so check with Tom Peters, the conference organizer.
