    quantity is one thing, but quality is another. i suspect quality or lack thereof does not mandate storage of said material and therefore does not necessitate retreivability of said junk.

    When it’s all stored in the same place . . . it’s great for librarians. Few will learn how to separate quality from quantity. My worries are that some organizations will think that they can get along without librarians and make decisions based on algorithmic search results.
