Many libraries are farther along the cloud computing path than many of them even acknowledge completely.
Most libraries have a large number of subscriptions to databases that can be described as being cloud services.
Many libraries have mirgated to SaaS operations for the savings but also for their scalability. Things like integrated library systems (ILS) operate well in cloud environments and so do many learning management systems (LMS). Banking and payroll are often in the could and many times you find OCLC services there. Libraries should give themselves credit for being innovative and staying on the edge of change and adaptation.

Good point.
In addition to scalability and savings, libraries can also benefit from the use of multiple integrated Cloud services communicating with each other.
