OK, this Delicious ‘sunset’ stuff isn’t making too many library folk happy. Yahoo!’s business strategies aside, your organization’s service and technology strategies are more important to you.

First the good news from CNET

Delicious to jump ship from Yahoo, not shutter

Apparently they are seeking an ‘exit strategy’ which could mean anything from sale to merger to whatever.

My advice is that your best option is to keep your mission critical stuff that you may have in something like Delicious backed up in an alternate system as well.
