Resilient Public Libraries – A Survey of Ontario Public Libraries Two Years into COVID-19

ABSTRACT
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, public libraries continued serving their communities, adapting programming, services and operations to meet the changing needs of community and staff. This article summarizes the results of a 2022 survey of Ontario Public Library CEOs, which explored the impact of the pandemic on Ontario libraries and the resiliency of public libraries to future disruptions. Public library CEOs shared both challenges and opportunities from the pandemic and demonstrated resilience in difficult times.
