As an autistic person, I found this article to be full of stereotypes. Not all of us thrive in quiet spaces, or have good enough coordination to roll a ball or do certain movements or gestures, or do well with visual supports, or like STEM. I strongly suggest that anybody who is interested in how to make their space accessible to autistic people consult with multiple actual autistic people, and avoid organizations like Autism Speaks at all costs.
