OK I cheated. I had to fly through Rekjavik, Iceland on the way to Stockholm so I stayed a day there. Interesting place. Then I got to Stockholm and saw the beautiful city of Stockholm. Interestingly, I was speaking at a national conference (slides below) and the surprise was when the elevator doors opened at my hotel in Sweden and I see a dozen Australian librarians in the lobby! Here they were for a completely different purpose. Small world! They were visiting great public libraries and learning a ton.

Hi Stephen — EBLIP 5 isn’t until June 2009 (I’m hoping to speak/attend!) Did you get this mixed up?
Pam
Nope I spoke at the European conference in Sweden last week. I’m pretty sure I was there (grin).
Stephen
sorry to say Stephen but you were here at our library and our conference but EBLIP 5 is in june 2009. The conference you spoke at(and a very good one I have to say) is called 11th annual Medical Library conference.
OK, I fixed it. I just cut and pasted from the conference’s materials. I guess I got an add promotion piece.
