How much does the Internet weigh?

Friday Fun:
Gizmodo reports that “The Internet Weighs About 1,098,868,920,000 Pounds”
Is that just over one quadrillion pounds?
My favourite comment: “Data, data everywhere, but not a thought to think.”
I guess we’re going to need more thin clients if this diet can work.
