Statistics and Monday Fun

I love this graphic which shows how tightly Canadians are tied to hockey and the most watched game in history:

Wouldn’t it be great if we could find some metaphors for libraries and usage / attention?

Can we track rising library usage with falling crime rates, perchance?

Or maybe when they start adding commercials to e-books we can track bathroom visits based on bestsellers!

Anyway, it’ll make a lovely chart.
