What do I wish my old self knew then to be future ready?

I did two guest posts this month on the SLA Future Ready 365 blog.

Here is the first one from June 14, 2011:

30 Years ago I graduated from Library School – and the future was in front of me…What do I wish my old self knew then to be future ready? (Part 1)

Part 2 was published today, June 23, 2011.

What do I wish my old self knew then to be future ready? (Part 2)

SLA: Service Level Agreement: SLA: Software License Agreement: SLA: Symbionese Liberation Army: SLA: Special Libraries Association: SLA: Second Language Acquisition
and I spent five minutes on their site and they didn’t feel it important to mention either. I am guessing Special Lilbraries, but it would be polite to let people know. Same for ALA in your next blog.

WTF: The target audience for this blog is librarians not USA Today readers. They read well, very well. Generalized rules like people need to read only short blog posts deny that some audiences can actually read and comprehend full sentences well. I like to have a mix of short and long posts.
