A got them all, but I’m older than you. The shock was that the church key would be included in this list. Drive-in movie speakers are also showing up on the internets asmystery objects

  2. Never used or saw a “tube tester”. Remember the fotomat booths, but don’t they we used one. Why not just go into the drugstore and drop off the film?!

*Today’s* kids, Stephen? If by kids, you mean millennials, then I think you’re on. But I’m 42 and a couple of these are a stretch to remember from my childhood. My 10 year old barely recognizes a VHS tape and thought our first cell phone was an old house phone. And every kid (from 5-18) who comes to our house stares in wonder at our 72-drawer card catalog before finally saying, “No idea, what is it?” And now I am only left to wonder about my own lifestyle when the only 2 items my 13-year old daughter recognized above were the pull-tabs and the church-key (which we still call a church-key in our house, to the amazement of our new mid-western friends). Wait, not fair, she says…she’s seen Green Stamps on the antique auction shows.
