I’d say this is a dreadfully shallow analysis, @sabram. Conspiracies aren’t aberrant features in history or culture.
Also disagree w/ the conflation of incommensurable points, @sabram: conspiracy A ≠ conspiracy B ≠ conspiracy C, etc.
In contrast, @sabram, I’d suggest that dismissiveness vis-a-vis conspiracies indicates an errant naivete w/r/t society and history.
