    It’s not all iPads and tablets responsible. The relative stagnation of PC hardware recently has meant that current systems run longer without need for replacements. Additionally, this chart of ‘pc sales’ covers only prebuilt machines. It’s far, far cheaper to build your own machine out of components, and increasingly consumers are wising up to that and avoiding the expense of pre-packaged systems.
