When the Internet kills, is Mrs. Plum it in the parlour with the candlestick? Only WikiLeaks knows for sure.
Newsweek has a slideshow on their site that trolls the old standbys of the walking e-dead.
As a response I loved Jeff Jarvis’ response:
It’s a lot more real when it notes that what was really killed in this WikiLeaks era was:
“* Government secrecy.
* Opaque markets.
* Central control.
* Power elites.
* Borders.
* Inefficiency.
* Ignorance.
* Newsweek.”
Read both for differing viewpoints.
