Maybe it’s me or the fact that I attend a lot of academic, library, teacher, and publisher conferences populated by people with masters and PhD degrees but is this a surprise?:
More Educated People Spend More On Booze

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics trivia fact of the day is that educational attainment is strongly correlated with alcohol expenditures:
Or maybe we just don’t buy cheap booze and plonk. I wonder if there’s a chart with units versus dollars spent.

Or maybe it has to do with the fact that people with a higher degree earn more? I’d bet educational attainment coorelates with spending in most catagories.

This research IS critical! Now I know that I don’t spend nearly enough money on booze!
