Randy Pausch

I know this iconic and emotional web event doesn’t need any more promotion. I also know that everyone should watch this video regularly. Randy Pausch will remain one of the best examples of the power of the web to enthrall, educate and inspire.
Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams
With equal parts humor and heart, Carnegie Mellon professor and alumnus Randy Pausch delivered a one-of-a-kind last lecture that moved an overflow crowd at the university — and went on to move audiences around the globe.
Randy died July 25 of complications from pancreatic cancer. He was 47. Randy’s family is planning a private burial. A campus memorial service is being planned and details will be announced at a later date. Read more about Randy’s legacy and share how he touched your life.”
The website collection of Randy Pausch’s contribution to the world and his family is here.
If everyone could have a small amount of this man’s kernel the world would be a better place.

i was so sad to read of randys leaving us. i read his book and watched him on a oprah and a new show with diane sawyer. what a lovely man. i went on his website to see how he was. though i never met this person, by reading his book and learning from him you just felt close or connected in some way. everyone MUST read this book. life is sad we know this. sometimes we can learn from others. that is why you have to read to book. my heart and warm thoughts i am sending to his beautiful wife and kids! i know how hard is to loose someone. continue with life take each day as it comes!
