Stephen’s Chat in Second Life

Well, it seemed to go fine in Second Life last night for my short speech on SLA’s island in Second Life. Here’s one picture (Thanks Pat and Jill)

I am the first sitting president of SLA to do a program in this virtual world. It was fun and I learned a lot.
Our SLA island is quite neat. There are 3-4 different spaces for proramminig that are open to any member to use (and anyone is welcome to attend). I suspect w’ell see some SLA Click University sessions there in 2009 too.
Excellent progress for a small group of volunteers, a little organization and playful effort and under 200 bucks. Just keep an eye on the SLA Second Life blog and calendar for future events.
