Technology Cults

I try not to get too deep into some of the cults in our field but it seems unavoidable.
CIO.com released this article today:
True Believers: The Biggest Cults in Tech
How many did you belong to?:
Tech cult No. 1: The Way of the Palm (1996-)
Tech cult No. 2: Brotherhood of the Ruby (1994-)
Tech cult No. 3: The Ubuntu tribe (2004-)
Tech cult No. 4: The Commodorians (1984-)
Tech cult No. 5: The Order of the Lisp (1958-)
Tech cult No. 6: Monks of the Midrange (1960-)
Tech cult No. 7: The Tao of Newton (1993-)
In the modern era we seem to have other cults emerging:
Apple Mac-maniacs
Windows Admin Gurus
Linux admin cognoscenti
The Order of Programmers.
The Cloister of Open Source
A Fleet of MARC Cataloguers
