The Economic Cycle

I’ve been through more than my share of the economic cycle – or roller coaster.

I’ve had a few conversations lately with some folks who seem to have forgotten that it is a cycle – ups and downs, downs and ups.

I liked this visual at VisualEconomics blog:

Now everything isn’t going back to the way it was. It NEVER does. You don’t get a bye on change. Keep your thinking caps on and adapt as needed.

Just don’t move into a permanent mode of depressive thinking. You’ll miss the new opportunities!

Stay focused and positive. It’s a lot more fun that way and people will want to be around you. No one wants to be around the break room needy black hole of emotion all the time!
