Now in a virtual world, how does one rank the following:
1. The largest databases
2. The biggest websites
3. The largest vaults of digital video
4. The biggest article repositories
5. The biggest e-book collections
6. etc.
Maybe we need some new measurements to compare our ‘progress’ to the future.
If we take away hard copy collections would the top libraries in the world still rank in the same order?
This could be a race where everyone wins.
