I wish our folks could speak more directly to the value of our work that people may not ‘get’ entirely rather than just repudiating the stereotype(s).

I wonder if the column on lawyers will be defensive about ambulance chasing, sleaziness or other (untrue) stereotypes? I’ll watch The Atlantic to see how other professions talk about themselves..
