  1. Can we see the empirical evidence for this?

  2. According to ALA there are a total of 16,604 public libraries including branches.(http://www.ala.org/ala/aboutala/offices/ola/quotablefacts/QuotableFacts2010.pdf)
According to the McDonald’s web site there are over 13,000 McDonald’s restaurants in the US. (http://www.aboutmcdonalds.com/mcd/franchising/us_franchising/why_mcdonalds.html)

  3. FEWER calories

  4. Quick count shows 15 libraries (not counting public or private secondary schools) but only 10 Macs in Virgina Beach (pop.435,000).

  5. And you can’t download a burger and fries to your smartphone.

  6. Thank you all for the evidence – I sit on my McD’s laden arse corrected.

Love Lola’s comment by the way x
