“Retired soccer player David Beckham‘s new memoir is coming out next week and to help promote the new book, he’ll be doing a reading live on Facebook on October 30th, the day that the book comes out.

Beckham announced the news on his Facebook page.

In partnership with Facebook, I want to do a truly global signing to coincide with the launch of my new book. If you are in London, New York, Sao Paulo or Hyderabad you can enter to win a ticket to take part in these events and receive a personalised digital signature from me via ground breaking technology. If you’re not in those cities, you won’t be disappointed as you can take a seat in the Facebook Digital Stadium to watch a live Q&A session where I will answer questions from fans around the world.

AppNewser has more: “Beckham didn’t explain which technology he will be using to provide digital autographs with.Autography is one option. The platform lets authors digital books digitally and deliver them to the pages of eBooks.””
