An article published in the Christian Science Monitor describes the value young people place on the library as “free place where you can be outside of your home and outside of work.” A recent survey from Pew backs up this statement, which found that “53 percent of Millennials (those ages 18-35) in the United States visited a library at least once in 2016, more than any other generation.”
