Read an exclusive excerpt from “An Internet In Your Head: A New Paradigm For How The Brain Works “

There have been an ton of metaphors for how the brain works using the current technolgies of the day.

On memory and wax tablet – “My wax melted” (I forgot).

Someone erased my blackboard (education and blackboards were a transformational technology).

“My hard drive crashed”

My hard drive is full.”

All of which were OK to talk during the day, but proved insufficient.

They’re interesting anyway in helping us craft language to understand that least understandable thing about us – our brains.

This book looks interesting as it ties research to human cognition using the internet metaphor.
