When I ask, I am always amazed at the number of academic libraries who haven’t surveyed their faculty about their preferences (or non-preference) for citation methods. All of these libraries provide software and services for citation tracking. All of them provide information fluency and citation training (and sometimes courses or videos). It seems foundational to prioritize these library programs with knowledge about what is being demanded by faculty . . .
