Abstract
A recent study in Australia reveals that companies that adapt to AI experience superior organizational performance, yet only 21% of Australian knowledge management executives and senior executives feel that their companies are ready for the AI age. Artificial intelligence, considered a unique approach to leading companies requires new knowledge management leaders, who must be well-ready for constant change and consider eight new pillars in their leadership. In this article, I present a new leadership model for knowledge management that opens up a new avenue of inquiry into the shifts of knowledge management leadership in the AI age, to get knowledge management executives across the globe to join a conversation that is very necessary today for them.
