Advocacy Update: OLA & FOPL Response to Provincial Poverty Reduction Strategy Consultation

The OLA and Federation of Ontario Public Libraries (FOPL) have submitted a joint written response to the Ontario Government’s consultation on its next poverty reduction strategy. The submission highlights the vital role of public libraries as partners in poverty reduction and reiterates our calls for investment in the Ontario Digital Public Library (ODPL) and an increase to the Public Library Operating Grant (PLOG).
