Introducing a New Resource: An Advocacy Toolkit for University-Based Publishers

NOW OFFICIAL!
Introducing a New Resource:
An Advocacy Toolkit for
University-Based Publishers

The University-Based Publishing Futures community has just released an Advocacy Toolkit for University-Based Publishing. See below for details about this resource and join us for a launch webinar on Monday, June 1, at 1pm ET.

About the toolkit: This advocacy toolkit is designed as scaffolding for libraries and university presses to develop arguments at their local institutions. It includes key messaging, template marketing collaterals, and a strategy worksheet. These resources are designed to help you identify your goals, focus on your local audience, craft messages that are likely to be persuasive, and organise communication channels available to you on your campus. They can help you sharpen your messaging to key stakeholders, engage decision makers, and easily produce collateral including stickers, flyers, and badges.

The toolkit is initially being released as a view-only Google doc (no Google account required to access it), but an accessible PDF version will be added soon.

Launch webinar: On Monday, June 1 at 1pm Eastern Daylight Time, the UBPF Advocacy Working Group will present the toolkit, answer questions, and gather feedback from the community.

Register in advance for this meeting:
